I am just going to start typing and see what comes out.  I've been wanting to try to actually write a blog, but I just can't come up with anything.  What few ideas I have had, I can't get the words out to express my thoughts or feelings on the subject.  If I was a professional writer, I would say that I'm having writers block.  I'm not a professional writer so I'm not going to say that.  I had started 2 or 3 other blogs a few weeks ago but deleted them since I couldn't say what I wanted to say, it just wouldn't come out.  Now, I don't remember what those blogs were since I deleted the drafts and removed them from my trash.  I think one was something about platform games that everyone should play at some point or something to that effect.  I have no clue what the others were so obviously they were brilliant ideas /sarcasm.

I guess I should thank those that took part in the no shame week.  Wasn't as big a turn out this year, but I'm surprised more people than myself did any, so thanks to you who participated.  Since I don't know what to write, I will mention the people who participated (that I know participated) by name.  Hang on while I open the no shame blog hub post I did.  Ok, it's open.  People who participated in posting a blog with shame in the title include but aren't limited to:  Me aka chilidogg, poorpigg, militaryveterangamer, bram, siphen, gonholio and starseeker94.

What else can I pretend to write about.  I'm still kind of reading comic books.  Slowed down a bit since I've been working more as of late.  I finished Batman Court of Owls volume 1 and I liked it.  It's one of the better comics (I haven't read very many) that I have read.  It's right up there with Suicide Squad on my likeness scale.  Currently I'm working on Batgirl and Justice League Dark.  I might try volume 2 of Batgirl but I'm not sure about JLD but I'm still pretty early in the comic.

Gaming-wise, I have been playing a lot of Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare on the Xbox One.  I normally don't do the online stuff, but I like the Gardens and Graveyards mode.  Basically, you are on either the plants side or the zombies side and if you are a plant, you try to protect an area for 6 minutes or so.  If you are a zombie, you are trying to take over the area in that time limit.  To take an area as a zombie, you just have to stand in the designated area.  If there is one or more plants in there, you have to have more zombies in that area to take control of it.  If the zombies take the area over, then you move on to another area to take on the map.  Fairly simple.  I'm still not very good at the game, but I have gotten better.  New DLC came out for it (which is free) and I have yet to try it since I spent last night downloading it.

Wow, over 500 words and I had nothing to write about.  One of these days I'll have a topic that I'll be able to say things about and hopefully be able to string words together to make coherent sentences.  Until then, I probably won't be doing a whole lot on here except for stalking.

I haven't actually "written" a blog in a while, so here goes.

What have I been doing lately?  Oh, buying a bunch of shit I don't need and working a lot.  I've been working 6 days a week for the last month and a half, getting about 60 hours a week.  So, since I've been getting so many hours, I've been spending my money.  Lately I have been buying Magic the Gathering cards.  I used to be into the game many moons ago but fell out of it.  The game is interesting to me again in the last few weeks, so I've been buying cards.

The buying of magic cards has slowed down my previous buying splurges of comic books.  I've gotten way behind in reading those, so it's probably good that I have stopped buying them.  Think I have about 20+ comics to read.  I could almost do a comic book backlog tournament.  Don't worry, I won't.

Gaming wise, I haven't been doing a whole lot.  Both of my streaks are still going.  My trophy streak (getting at least one trophy a day) has reached 282 days and 391 trophies during that time.  My achievement streak has reached 290 days wish 653 achievements.

I finally reached PS trophy level of 13, so that's something I guess.

Other than that, I haven't done much.  This was my first full 2 day weekend I've had off since late June.  It's nice, hope to be able to get these more often in the near future.  Doubt it though.

I have a Yahoo NFL fantasy league with friends and co-workers.  Well, I apparently don't have enough friends to fill out the league.  So, I'll take 1 to 3 people in the league.  First come, first serve.  Bram, you are already in it so don't try.

I started the game not knowing what it was.  Walked toward the island, walked around, went on a hill and I nodded off while playing.  When I woke up, I had received a trophy.

I'm still hanging around here on occasion.  Haven't really been active here since June or so.  I did somehow manage to post 4 blogs last month.  7 in the last two months.  I used to post 7 blogs in 8-10 days.  That was when i was back in my prime, now I'm just a washed up veteran that won't leave.

I still don't have the itch to blog constantly again, but I do have other itches in "personal" places.

My achievement and trophy streaks are still technically going.  (uh oh, he used "technically" so get ready for an explanation, blah blah blah...skip to the next paragraph thingy if you don't care.  I already have)  The site that has been keeping track of my streaks only counts the streaks if you get the trophy or cheevo time stamped which means the cheevo has to be done while online.  Fortunately the ps3 will time stamp a trophy if you get it offline.  So the story goes that I was at work like I usually am, go home and the internet is down.  Nothing new since my ISP doesn't know how to keep the internet running for 24 hours straight.  So I wait and wait and wait.  About 4 hours go by and I call them up and there is a major outage and there is no estimated time of the internet coming back up.  Well, it didn't come back up till after midnight.  I get up at 4:30 a.m. to get ready for work so I was already asleep by then, almost awake for the next day.  I did get a cheevo and trophy, but the site didn't count the cheevo cause it doesn't have a time stamp since the internet was down.  It did count my trophy though, so technically both streaks are still going even though the site only has one still going.  Anywho, the streaks are cheevos at 319 days and trophies at 311.

Also, I just got my 1,250th trophy.  Hooray for me.

I'm getting back into Magic:  The Gathering for the third time.  Damn the cards are a lot better than they were when i first started.  They do all kinds of crazy shit now.

I've started drinking alcohol again, so I got that going for me.

I've been playing Minecraft on the Xbone the last few days.  Don't know why but I can't stop playing it.

It's been a long time since I have been active on here so why not introduce myself to the newer people that may find this.  Hello, my name on here is Chilidogg.  You may call me Chili if you want.  I am a 30+ year old kid from near the middle USA.  I like just about any type of video game.  I play sports games, platformers, rpgs (though not as much since I work full time), shooters, puzzlers, fighters, etc.  I own a shit ton of games and quite a few systems.  I have 2 Atari's, Atari Lynx, NES, N64, GameCube, 3DS, Genesis, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.  I'm not going to name my games, way too many and i'm too lazy.

My brief history on here:  I joined back in December of 2010 so I'm coming up on my 4 year anniversary here.  I used to be really freaking active which is why i'm level 48 and why this is my 946th blog.  Told you I used to be active.  Shockingly, this is my 119th blog this year if my math is right.  Blogging-wise, I started the NFL Pick'em which dillaweezer now runs, I do a backlog tournament where you pick what game I beat before I do another tournament (which I haven't beaten the game that won this year mainly because I forgot what game won ), and I'm mainly known for my no shame blogs where I post pictures of sexy women.  So if you see a blog titled "No shame #" with a number there, don't look at it unless you like women I find attractive.  That's your warning.  Commenting-wise, I don't comment a whole lot.  Never really have.  I don't like people so I don't talk to you.  No offense to any people out there.

If I forgot anything, then it was less important that the shit I spewed out in this blog.  I'm making an effort to be active here again though not as active as I once was.  Hopefully I can find a spot in between the two.   We will see how long that lasts...

The 25th of October was the one year anniversary of my streak.  On that day in 2013, I started getting achievements.  I started getting them every day of the week.  I am proud to say that even though the site didn't count it all since my internet was down one day (goddamn internet), I have gone a full calendar year of getting at least one Xbox 360 achievement every day.

During that time, I have gotten 823 achievements on the 360 and Xbox One.  But I made sure that every day had a 360 achievement unlocked.  the Xbox One achievements were just extra gravy

I bought a bunch of games lately.  Lego Batman 3, the Borderlands pre whatever, Sunset Overdrive, Dragon Age Spanish Inquisition, a bunch of shit games (5), and FarCry 4.

I'm getting a new ISP so I should get a lot better internet speeds.  I could write a bunch on how much I dislike my current ISP, but i'm not going to bitch.

My trophy and achievement streaks are still going.  I have no idea the stats on them because I'm lazy and you don't care.

That's about it.  I've been working like someone who is over worked and under paid.  Worked about 55 hours last week, but a short week this time cause of Thanksgiving.  I also get the day after off.  4 day weekend coming up.  Sweet.

More about me, my trophy and achievement streaks are still going.  Cheevo streak at 438 and trophies at 430 (I think).  I had about 2 weeks off from work around the holidays and played games like crazy, but sadly only finished 2 games.  I got the last two achievements in Borderlands 2 and I beat Lego The Movie Video Game.  I'm working on maxing that out soon.  Also, I broke out Red Dead Redemption since it won the Backlog Tournament last year.  Sadly, I didn't finish it.  I played that game for several hours and seemed to get no further lol.  I'm almost to part 3, I think.  Not sure.

10.  Tropico 5

I've been a fan of Tropico since Tropico 3 came out on consoles.  I'm a sucker for the game.  I find it fun.

9.  Borderlands The Pre-Sequel

I'm a fan of the first two so I went ahead and bought this one.  To me, it's the weakest of the three but it's still Borderlands.  If you enjoy that series, you'll like this game.

8.  Lego The Movie Video Game

Yay, a Lego game.  It was fun and I beat the game.  I don't beat a lot of games so that automatically put it on my list  

7.  Minecraft (Xbox One)

Kind of cheating since this game has been out for ages, but it was released this year on the newer consoles so I get to use it.  

6.  MLB The Show 14

It's about the only baseball game made anymore.  It's also a very good game.

5.  Defense Grid 2

Enjoyed the crap out of the first Defense Grid, and this one is just like that one.  It's a tower defense game if you didn't know.  Basically it's the first one with better graphics, 2 new towers, new abilities, upgrades for the towers and new levels.  

4.  Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

Kind of cheating again but it was released on the new consoles this year with the DLC Reaper of Souls.  It's the only game on here I have beaten more than once, and yet it didn't make the top spot.  

3.  South Park  The Stick of Truth

Such a fun and funny game.  Really enjoyed it.  Another one of the few games I've beaten.  

2.  Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare

When I first bought this game, I only played the part you can do offline since I'm not a big online shooter player guy.  But one day I gave it a shot and 100+ hours later, I still play the crap out of it.

1.  Trials Fusion

Oh Trials, how I enjoy thee.  I'm probably one of the few people here who really enjoy this game and the series.  As of this writing, I have beaten every track (including the DLC released so far) on the game.  Don't have and won't get all the achievements, but i'm ok with that.

I told you this was quickly thrown together.  That's why there are pictures, to make it seem longer than it really is.  And that's also why I'm still typing because I haven't reached 500 words yet and feel like I should, since this is my list after all.  Only sixteen more words till I reach the five hundred plateau.  Almost there.  Getting closer.  Yes!

Way back when during the Playstation One era, I played a little game called Final Fantasy VIII.  Maybe some of you have heard of it.  Back then, I didn't buy a lot of games because I was younger and had no money.  My friend, Big Guy (some of you may know of him from out short lived podcast) had the game and let me borrow it.  I had the game for quite a while and played the hell out of it.  I knew I was getting close to the end of the game and I believe my team was over powered, even toward the end of the game.  So I had read about Omega Weapon and knew that that boss is supposed to be the hardest boss on the game.

Being my cocky, young self, I thought Omega wouldn't stand a chance against my awesomeness.  Boy was I wrong.  I got absolutely destroyed.  I think I tried to beat Omega for a week and couldn't do it.  So I quit.  Did I quit fighting Omega and move on?  Nope.  I quit playing the game totally.  Gave it back to my friend.  The stupid thing is that Omega is a stones throw from the end boss.  So I never did beat FF8 because I'm an idiot.  I'm also an idiot because I have watched FF8 prices on Amazon and didn't buy it when it was around $11.  Now its about $50.

So, have you done anything stupid like that?
